THE DALAI LAMA TRUST GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The DLT Scholarships are highly competitive supplementary bursary awarded to outstanding Tibetan graduate students pursuing a full-time graduate degree in any reputable University in Europe/Australia/North Americas.

The purpose of the scholarship program is to further the human capital development of Tibetan people by encouraging the pursuit of excellence among Tibetan students in a graduate field of study that has relevance and potential to contribute to the welfare of humanity and the Tibetan people in particular.

Eligibility

• The Applicant must be already enrolled in or accepted for a graduate degree program in a reputable University in Europe/Australia/ North Americas

• The Applicant must demonstrate proof of Tibetan heritage through an up to date record of contributions to the Green Book

• Only graduates, post-graduates and Ph.D scholars are eligible

Since 2010, the Dalai Lama Trust has awarded scholarships of up to $10,000 each, to ten to fifteen students every year, as recommended by the Dalai Lama Trust Scholarship Selection Committee.

The Scholarship announcement is made in the month of February/March and announces Award recipients on July 6.

 

The deadline for submission of 2016 DLT Graduate Scholarship is now closed.
